GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General

  • Out of Bounds reserves the right to close any activity, or part of any activity during trading hours for any reason which may include last-minute activity closures due to extreme weather (upon management decision only), without notice or compensation. We will endeavour to inform you of a closure prior to a party only.
  • Out of Bounds reserves the right to refuse entry to any person(s) without explanation but this is not always achievable. Refunds will NOT be issued, and moving any booking is subject solely to management decisions only.
  • Due to the hazardous nature of the activities performed at Out of Bounds, participants are advised that this can be a dangerous environment and participation in any activity is done so at your own risk.
  • Children using Out of Bounds must be supervised at all times by an adult.
  • Participants need to be dressed appropriately for all activities.
  • Out of Bounds facilities may be closed from time to time for private parties, group sessions or other functions.
  • Outdoor activities will be played in all weather conditions. Cancellations or moved bookings cannot be accepted due to weather conditions.
  • All Events at Out of Bounds will have photography and videography being carried out for marketing purposes. It is the sole responsibility of participants, parents and guardians to immediately inform management on arrival if inclusion in photography/videography content is not wanted.

Payment and Booking

  • If you are paying on the day, please note we will have no facilities on-site to accept cash, we are only accepting payment by bank card.
  • At time of making any booking or adding to an existing booking, the current web price applies and will be charged.  After any price increase, the current price will be charged even if the initial booking was made prior to a price increase and the price was different.  Announcements of price changes is not guaranteed, and Out of Bounds reserves the right to charge the advertised website price at time of booking.

Refunds and Cancellations

  • We are unable to offer a refund or change the date and/or time of any booking unless we receive a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
  • If we have to close a section or entirety of the premises, due to Government guidelines regarding Covid 19, all bookings already paid for will be moved to a future date once re-open. Under these circumstances, refunds will not be issued, but we will honour bookings that have already been paid for and move them to a later date upon customer request.

Food and Drink

  • Only food and drink bought at Out of Bounds may be consumed on the premises. But play is thirsty work and water bottles are permissible.
  • No food or drink is allowed on the bowling lanes, in the climbing arena, within the soft play structure or adventure nets structure.

Off Peak rates

  • Any advertised off-peak rates do not apply on Bank and Public holidays and during State and Private school holidays, which are all deemed to be peak times.

Customers Personal Belongings

  • Customers are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all their personal possessions. Out of Bounds will not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage of customers’ possessions. Lockers are provided for the safekeeping of personal belongings.

 

ACTIVITIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Clip ’n Climb

  • Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
  • Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time, to complete our Consent Form and be ready to attend the compulsory safety briefing when it starts. Participants arriving after the briefing has started may not be allowed to climb.
  • A safety briefing will be provided beforehand starting on the hour. All climbers and a parent/guardian MUST attend the safety briefing before the climb, on every visit.
  • The duration of climbing will be approximately 50 minutes, the duration of the full climb, including briefing, is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
  • The Leap of Faith and Vertical Drop Slide are subject to availability.
  • For the exclusive use of the climbing arena bookings of 22 climbers is required.
  • Participants must be at least 4 years old and have a minimum height of 100cm (130cm for the Leap of Faith) and be subject to harness size fitting suitability.
  • 2-3 year old children are permitted to climb during a designated Pre-School session only. For further details on Pre-School sessions, please locate the specific heading within the Terms and Conditions.
  • All participants must dress appropriately for climbing. This includes the removal of all jewellery and watches, all pockets emptied long hair tied back and only closed-toe shoes are allowed. Flip flops, heeled footwear or sandals/crocs are not appropriate. Do not climb in overly baggy or overly tight clothing.
  • The consumption of alcohol before climbing is strictly prohibited.
  • No food, drink or chewing gum is allowed within the climbing arena.
  • No one taking part has any medical condition that might be made worse by climbing at Out of Bounds. This includes, but is not limited to neck, back, shoulder, hip and knee injuries, broken bones, as well as pregnancy.
  • Any physical activity carries an inherent risk of bumps, bruises, scrapes and minor injuries. By participating or allowing children in your care to participate, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
  • The child’s parent or adult guardian remains responsible for the welfare of their child(ren) at all times and must decide what level of supervision by the parent/guardian the child(ren) needs in the Clip ‘n Climb arena in light of his/her age, confidence and ability. We encourage all parents to interact and share the Clip ‘n Climb experience with the children in their care. Clip ‘n Climb sessions are not to teach climbing, nor are they one-to-one style sessions with any of our team.
  • Parents / Guardians are welcome to take photos only of their friends and family at Out of Bounds.
  • The Clip ‘n Climb arena may need to be temporarily closed at short notice under exceptional circumstances or maintenance reasons. All bookings will be contacted and moved to a new date, refunds will not be given in this situation.
  • Any climbing wall/element may be taken out of use at any time for essential reasons. We endeavour to operate with all elements open, however, refunds/reduced pricing will not be given due to any number of elements being out of action.

Clip ’n Climb Consent Form

  • Participants for Clip ‘n Climb are required to complete a Consent Form before using the facility. There is one form for each group and each participant must sign the form to confirm that they accept responsibility to abide by the safety requirements while they are in the Clip ‘n Climb arena. If the participant is under 18 then their parent or guardian will be required to complete the form before the child can take part in the activity. Participants will be given a Consent Form to complete on arrival. Please remember that we require a Consent Form for each session.

Soft Play

  • Our soft play sessions allow playing for children up to 12 years of age.
  • Parents/guardians must be aged 18 or over and must supervise children at all times whilst using our facility. Parents/guardians are responsible for explaining the rules of play to children and should monitor them closely.
  • All children have to be under parental/guardian supervision and at least one supervising adult must remain within the soft play area. We are not responsible for the entry/exit of any child going into/out of the soft play area – this remains the full sole responsibility of the supervising parent/guardian at all times.
  • Parents/guardians must ensure children are dressed suitably to use the facilities. We recommend that children wear long trousers and sleeves to minimise the risk of burn, clothes tucked in and jewellery, watches and sharp objects removed. Socks must be worn at all times, this is inclusive of all adults assisting their child within the facility. Socks are available to purchase from reception.
  • We encourage parents and accompanying adults to play and supervise their children when using the equipment where it is safe to do so. All adults must use reasonable care to avoid damage to equipment or injury to themselves or others.
  • Balls and objects must not be thrown. Children must not be allowed to climb on the netted walls, the system structure or up the slides and in front of the slide exits.
  • Children who are unwell must not be brought into the facilities and if anyone becomes unwell whilst at our facility we kindly ask that they leave to avoid the risk of infection.
  • Age restrictions do vary in the structure, these are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all children. Please ensure your children play in the correct area.
  • A session time limit of up to 1 hour 20 minutes will apply in busy periods, and a banding system will be in place for all sessions. It is compulsory for all visitors to wear the coloured band prior to entry into soft play, and removal of the band will result in being asked to leave the session.
  • We do not offer refunds for any reason.
  • Customers are not allowed to bring their own food and drink. Food and drink are available to purchase. But play is thirsty work and water bottles are permissible.

Ten Pin Bowling

  • Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
  • Slow bowling can happen, please be patient with our reception team if your start time is delayed.
  • If slow bowling takes place, you will be asked to speed up your play.
  • Socks must be worn and can be purchased from reception.

Adventure Golf

  • Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
  • All Visitors and Guests must pay before playing.
  • All players will be given a putter and a ball, no sharing is allowed.
  • Players must not play with more than one ball each.
  • No dogs allowed.
  • Outdoor activities will be played in all weather conditions. Cancellations or moved bookings cannot be accepted due to weather conditions.

Adventure Nets

  • Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
  • Sessions are daily from 11am. Each session is up to 1.5 hours long and subject to availability.
  • The minimum age is 4 years.
  • 4-5 year old children must be accompanied by a supervising adult (18+ years) at all times. The supervision ratio for ages 4-5 is 1 adult to 3 children.
  • For ages 6-15 years, an adult must remain on site.
  • The child’s parent or adult guardian remains responsible for the welfare of their child(ren) at all times and must decide what level of supervision by the parent/guardian the child(ren) needs in the Adventure Nets, in light of age, confidence, and ability.
  • Participants should arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled start time to sign in and receive a session wristband.
  • A session time limit is up to 2 hours, and a wrist banding system will be in place for all sessions. It is compulsory for all visitors to wear the coloured band prior to entry into the Adventure Nets area. The removal of the band will result in being asked to leave Adventure Nets.
  • The maximum weight limit is 120kg (19st). There is no minimum height restriction.
  • Any physical activity carries an inherent risk of bumps, bruises, scrapes, and minor injuries. By participating or allowing the children in your care to participate you acknowledge and accept this risk.
  • Do not participate when pregnant or after recent surgery. People with health concerns and existing injuries are advised not to participate.
  • No smoking of any form.
  • No backflips, somersaults, running, or climbing of the walls is permitted.
  • No jumping down the slides.
  • Customers are not allowed to bring their own food and drink. Food and drinks are available to purchase.
  • We advise that long hair is tied back and glasses must be secure.
  • Closed-toe footwear such as trainers must be worn. Shoes with heels, flip-flops or open-toe shoes are not permitted.
  • All jewellery must be removed and pockets emptied before taking part.
  • Appropriate loose-fitting, flexible, comfortable clothing should be worn.
  • The consumption of alcohol before adventure nets is prohibited.
  • Personal possessions are left at your own risk. Out of Bounds is not responsible for the customer’s property.
  • We are unable to offer a refund or change the date and/or time on any booking unless we receive a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
  • Outdoor activities take place in all weather conditions. Cancellations or moved bookings cannot be accepted due to weather conditions.

Jumping Pillows

  • Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
  • All Visitors and Guests must pay before jumping.
  • Socks must be worn at all times, if you do not have any socks, they can be purchased on-site.
  • Outdoor activities will be played in all weather conditions. Cancellations or moved bookings cannot be accepted due to weather conditions.

Laser Tag

  • Open Laser sessions must be pre-booked and are suitable for ages 5 years to 13 years. Age restrictions apply to these sessions, please check the minimum and maximum age limit prior to booking.
  • For parties and group bookings, a minimum of 12 participants is required. The maximum group size is 30 persons.
  • Sessions comprise a 15-minute briefing and approximately 45-minute play.
  • Socks must be worn at all times.
  • Open Laser Sessions take place regularly. Dates are advertised on this website and on Facebook, or call to enquire and book.
  • Open Laser tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date for any reason, there will be a minimum £50 administrative fee if permission to move a booking is granted in all cases.

 

PROMOTIONS AND EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Pre-School Climb ‘n’ Soft Play

  • This offer is available to claim on selected Weekdays, during term time only.
  • Payment includes one Clip ‘n Climb session, one Soft Play entry for the child, ( 1 Adult Guest fee included for Soft Play)
  • There is no need to turn up 15 minutes prior to your climb, the safety briefing takes place within the session.
  • Children must be under the age of 5 and it must be the same child doing both activities.
  • Adult supervision is required at all times throughout the session and parents/guardians are required to assist with clipping their child/children. We cannot allow more than 2 children per 1 assisting adult.
  • We advise that every preschooler have a parent clipper with them on a 1:1 ratio, you can be a clipper to 2 children, but no more.
  • Spaces are limited on a first come first serve basis.
  • Adults/Guardians must be able to sign the consent form for their child.
  • This offer may be withdrawn without prior warning at any time.
  • Sessions do not take place during school holidays.

After School Fun ‘n’ Food Offer

  • Applicable to under 16s only and under 13s for soft play.
  • Ten Pin Bowling, Soft play and Adventure Golf are valid only during term time Monday to Thursday between 3:00 – 5:30 pm.
  • A £2 entry fee is required for the adult to enter the Soft Play area.
  • Clip ‘n Climb is valid for the 4 pm session for 55 minutes. Includes on-floor safety brief. (Excluding Leap of Faith and Drop slide).
  • Choose from Kids Margherita Pizza or Kids Burger with chips, Chicken Nuggets with Chips (Gluten-free Fish Goujon with chips also available). Out of Bounds reserves the right to change the food options at any time without prior warning.
  • To order the food, the redemption of the till receipt displaying the offered payment is essential. Food cannot be provided without the offer receipt and the offer is only valid for the date of receipt.
  • Offer may be withdrawn without prior warning at any time.

  • Choose from Option 1 – Half sandwich – ham or jam, pom bear crisps, raisins and (squash served in our Party Cups)  or Option 2 – 3 x Chicken Nuggets/Vegan and Small Portion of Chips and Squash served in our Party Cups) No other food options can be provided with this offer.  Out of Bounds reserves the right to change the food options at any time without prior warning.

  • Purchase of a Day Ticket includes one Clip ‘n Climb session (10 am, 4 pm or 5 pm only), an Adventure Nets session, one game of Bowling, and one game of Adventure Golf on the same day for a single participant.
  • Day Ticket wristbands must be worn by the person participating in all activities.
  • Each individual will be issued a wristband upon arrival. It is the responsibility of the owner to keep it safe. If removed or lost the day ticket is no longer valid.
  • Day Tickets cannot be transferred to another day for any reason, including weather.
  • Day Tickets are valid per person and are non-transferable between other visitors.
  • Upon completing your online day ticket booking and to guarantee your activity please call 01903 788588 to secure your time for Ten Pin Bowling, Adventure Nets, Adventure Golf and Clip ‘n Climb (10 am, 4 pm or 5 pm only). Failure to do so may result in the inability to take part in these activities.

Active Kids Holiday Camps

  • Day Camps are available for children aged between 6-12.
  • Drop off is at 9:30 am and pick up is at 3.00 pm.
  • Parents must fill out and return the consent form on the day.
  • This event can be booked in the centre, over the phone or online.
  • Price includes participation in a range of activities (but not all). Each camp date may have participation in different activities and the possible participation from any of the following activities will take place – Adventure Golf, Ten Pin Bowling, Soft Play, Adventure Nets or Clip ’n Climb, but the day may not be limited to these activities.
  • We advise children to bring waterproofs in case it rains on the day, they will also need to wear trainers and socks, otherwise, they will not be able to participate in some activities. Outdoor activities will continue in wet weather.
  • It is essential that your child brings a packed lunch and plenty of fluids for an active day! All contents with a packed lunch must not contain nuts.
  • Any food/drinks purchases can be made from our café. We only accept card payments, not cash. An adult may purchase a gift card on arrival for the child to use for café payments during the day.
  • This event is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
  • Activities will be subject to availability on the day.
  • Active Holiday Camp tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date for any reason.

Home Education Sessions

  • To qualify for this discount, participants must be home-educated, and to book please call and pay on arrival, online booking is not possible.
  • Activities applicable to our home education rate are Ten Pin Bowling, Soft Play, Jumping Pillows, Adventure Golf and Clip ‘n Climb.
  • Discounted activities are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.30 am until 3.00 pm. Term time only.
  • Clip ‘n Climb sessions are available on Wednesday and Thursday’s only at 11.00 am and 1.00 pm. Please arrive 15mins before the activity for compulsory safety briefing.
  • The Clip ‘n Climb Session excludes the Leap of Faith.
  • Home Ed Discounted Prices are:

PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In the unfortunate event that there is a future outbreak of COVID-19 or similar, which forces the Centre or specific activity to close due to government guidelines, all bookings, including parties and group bookings that fall within these closed periods will not be refunded, however, they will be frozen free of charge and rebooked for a later date.

General

  • Party bookings are for a minimum of 12 children.
  • Party Food options apply to the entire party booking. Choose from:
    1) Kids Margherita Pizza.
    2) Chicken Nuggets with Chips.
    3) 50/50 split of Kids Margherita Pizza and Chicken Nuggets with Chips.
  • For all special dietary requirements, we must be informed at least 14 days before the party date otherwise we cannot meet the specific dietary requirements. Please note that we may not be able to cater for ALL dietary requirements.
  • For the safety of both you and your children, it is important that you and your guests observe our General and Party Terms and Conditions for all activities.
  • All party groups are to be accompanied by a ratio of 1 adult to every 4 children.
  • The Party Organiser must inform Out of Bounds staff of any allergies or similar important facts concerning all children within their party.
  • Children who are unwell must not use the facilities.
  • Out of Bounds reserves the right to change the content and pricing of any of the parties without prior notification, whether a quote has been provided or not.
  • Smoking/Vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the Out of Bounds building.

Payments

  • Full payment for the party is taken at the time of booking. You have the opportunity to increase your booking numbers up to 14 days before your booking date as long as you have not reached your maximum room/area/activity capacity, after this time you will not be able to add any extras. Full payment for all extras will be taken upon notification to Out of Bounds. We strongly advise giving us as much advance warning as possible for additional numbers, particularly for Clip ‘n Climb and Laser Tag, as sessions have a maximum number and availability is open to public bookings unless you have booked exclusive use of the arena.
  • Out of Bounds reserves the right to withdraw any promotion or discounts for party bookings.
  • Promotional or free play vouchers cannot be used against any party booking.
  • Please note that your party is not confirmed until full payment for your party minimum has been received.
  • At time of making any booking or adding to an existing booking, the current web price applies and will be charged. After any price increase, the current price will be charged even if the initial booking was made prior to a price increase and the price was different. Announcements of price changes is not guaranteed, and Out of Bounds reserves the right to charge the advertised website price at time of booking.
  • Please consider, when confirming your party numbers, we are unable to offer any form of refund once your full payment has been processed.

Cancellations / Amendments

  • Cancelling your party and not rescheduling the party date would mean any monies become non-refundable.
  • If you choose to reschedule your party, or change the party time or activity, for any reason (subject to availability), there is an administration fee of £50.00. We do require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice to reschedule any event or activity.
  • Rescheduled parties will need to take place within 6 months from the cancellation date.
  • In the unfortunate event that a party booking cannot take place due to an illness or other unexpected circumstance, and Out of Bounds is informed under 7 days of party date, the booking is able to get rescheduled within the following 6 months, subject to availability and a ‘late charge’ will arise. A minimum charge of £100.00 will apply, to assist covering the lost party booking slot, lost activity spaces and party host cancellation. The amount that will be charged, if in excess of £100.00 will be the decision of Out of Bounds. If this charge and a reschedule is not paid within 7 days of postponing, the party booking will be fully cancelled and all payments lost.

Party Parent Responsibilities

  • Party parents and guests must arrive 15 minutes prior to the party start time.
  • Latecomers will not be given additional activity time.
  • The party parent and adult guests are fully responsible for all party children at all times.
  • It is extremely important that the party parent provides the party host with the exact numbers in their party on arrival.
  • Parent guests bringing siblings that are not part of the party will be charged at our standard prices on the day. The party parents can choose to either be charged for extra adults/siblings on the day or ask the reception team to charge the parents on entry.
  • It is the party parent’s responsibility to inform the booking office of the chosen menu at the time of booking a party.
  • For all special dietary requirements, we must be informed at least 14 days before the party date otherwise we cannot meet the specific dietary requirements.
  • The party parent should ensure that all children are dressed appropriately. Use of soft play and bowling will be refused if no socks are worn, or incorrect footwear is worn for climbing. It is advisable to bring spare socks on the day however socks can be purchased from reception.
  • Spray foam, poppers, streamers, confetti and piñatas are not permitted. Customers will be charged an additional sum of £20.00 for cleaning if this is disregarded or the facility is left in an untidy state.
  • Decorations are permitted on the walls of the party room, however, customers will be charged a minimum sum of £50.00 for any damage incurred.
  • The party parent may provide a birthday cake and candles (only normal candles permitted). We will provide a cake slice and safety matches.
  • Food may not be brought into the centre by the party parent or friends except a birthday cake. All food items and beverages must be purchased from the caterers.
  • The party parent must ensure that all party children are collected by their parent/guardian at the end of the party time.
  • The party parent must ensure that the location for food is fully vacated at the end of the allocated party time. This time can not extend or overrun as there will be new parties following
  • Parents (18 years +) can purchase alcohol at our premises. We do not allow parents to supply their own alcohol and alcohol is not permitted within the soft play area or the climbing arena.
  • Out of Bounds is not responsible for personal belongings and will not be held liable for any lost, damaged or stolen items. Lockers are provided.
  • Capacity for adult numbers in a party room is subject to party size and room space. The party rooms can’t always accommodate for all parents as well.

Party Host Responsibilities

  • The Party Host will interact with the children when possible, making sure they have a fantastic time. 1 host per party will be allocated regardless of party size. If an additional host is required, this can be arranged for an additional cost, subject to a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
  • The Party Host will provide a good level of service to both party parents and children. The Party Host’s primary focus will be the children.
  • The Party Host is unable to wait for late party guests as this will disrupt the party schedule.
  • The Party Host will help to serve food to the children in the party room/area.

Party Information

  • Helium balloons can be used at Out of Bounds. If you wish to supply your own special helium balloons, please ensure they are already inflated and taken home with you.
  • We are happy for you to supply your own party theme to use on the party tables or in the party room.
  • Management reserves the right to change the party room or area allocated at the time of booking without any prior notice unless payment has been made for private party room hire.
  • We will endeavour, but cannot guarantee, to inform you of any non-availability of any options, equipment or facility prior to your party.
  • The birthday child’s gift is strictly limited to the birthday child.

Party Feedback and Complaints

  • We would be grateful if you could complete a party questionnaire at the end of your party with comments. We may also call you to confirm the feedback you have given.
  • If you have any problems during your party, it is important that you speak to the Manager immediately to enable swift resolution.
  • In the unlikely event that the problem cannot be resolved at the time, please email full details of your grievance to info@out-of-bounds.co.uk where your complaint will be thoroughly investigated following our internal procedures.

Soft Play Information

  • Minimum of 12 guests, 12 years and under.
  • It is not exclusive use of the soft play structure.
  • Party duration – 2 hours. 1 hour 15 minutes of play within the soft play structure and the last 45 minutes for party food.
  • 12 free adult soft play wristband entries (all other adults entering the soft play area will be charged the standard £2 adult entry fee).
  • Re-entry into the soft play structure after a party requires full payment.
  • Socks must be worn by all children and adults entering the structure at all times, entry will be refused without socks. Please note Socks can be purchased at reception.
  • A party host is provided for the duration of the party.
  • Chewing gum, pens, buckles, watches, jewellery, money, sharp objects etc must not be taken into the play area by children using the soft play structure.

Clip ‘n Climb Information

  • Minimum of 12 guests. Ages 4 and above with a minimum height of 100cm.
  • From 9:30 am to close, 7 days a week.
  • It is not exclusive use of the climbing arena unless booking a minimum of 22 guests.
  • Minimum of 12 up to a maximum of 25 guests.
  • Climbing duration is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes which includes a safety briefing. Safety briefings start on the hour and must begin punctually for the climbing session to start on time. We cannot delay the start of safety briefings for latecomers and climbers cannot climb without a safety briefing.
  • All participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to your briefing time.
  • The general public is able to join party climbing sessions at any time if the session has not been fully booked by the party for exclusive use.
  • After booking the minimum number of guests additions can only be accepted if it is still available within the session.
  • Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn.
  • Long hair must be tied up and baggy clothing removed.
  • Climbing will be refused for loose or open-toed footwear.
  • Climbing is not permitted for any participant with injuries such as fractures, sprains etc.
  • A host will be provided for the duration of the food service.

Ten Pin Bowling Information

  • Minimum of 12 guests. Ages 4 years and above.
  • From 9:30 am to close, 7 days a week.
  • A host will meet and greet on arrival and set up the lanes ready to start bowling. The host will be available at any point whilst bowling, however, will not remain permanently with the group whilst bowling takes place.
  • The host will assist for the duration of the food service.
  • Socks must be worn at all times and bowling is not allowed without socks. Socks can be purchased from reception.
  • Bowling shoes must be worn at all times and anyone not bowling but assisting others must also wear bowling shoes.
  • Bowling shoes provided by Out of Bounds must be worn.
  • Bowling shoe covers are available from reception if there is the need to exit the building whilst wearing bowling shoes.
  • Abuse of equipment will not be tolerated.
  • Under no circumstances should food or drink be taken onto the wooden approach area on the bowling lanes.

Laser Information

  • Minimum of 12 up to a maximum of 30 guests. Minimum age 5 years.
  • The session is not exclusive unless a minimum of 24 guests is booked.
  • A maximum of two parties will play in the same session. We cannot guarantee similar ages will play in the same session.
  • Sessions start at 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm and are 1 hour in duration, comprising of a safety briefing and 3 games of laser play. The play takes place within the soft play structure.
  • A party host will meet and greet on arrival and remain with the party for the duration.
  • Entry into the soft play area is only permitted at the start of the laser session and not prior to this. Exit from the soft play area immediately after the laser session ends.
  • Commencement of a laser session cannot be delayed and must start promptly on the hour and finish promptly. A delayed start will result in a loss of laser play.
  • Socks must be worn at all times, and play will not be allowed without socks. Socks can be purchased from reception.
  • Adding additional party numbers for laser tag is subject to availability as laser tag sessions have a maximum number of spaces available.
  • If you require to add to the laser tag numbers, then contact us as soon as possible by phone to avoid disappointment, due to capacity.

Adventure Golf Information

  • A minimum of 12 guests. Ages 5 years and above are recommended.
  • Available from 10 am to dusk, 7 days a week.
  • A party host will meet and greet on arrival and remain with the party for the duration (this excludes weekday term-time parties).
  • No dogs allowed.
  • Adventure Golf is an outdoor activity and will be played in all weather conditions, cancellations cannot be accepted due to weather conditions.
  • Abuse of equipment will not be tolerated.

Lighting, Music and Effects

  • Please be aware loud music, reduced lighting level, flashing lights and haze are used throughout the centre. We must be made aware of any customers who may be affected by any of this (e.g. customers with epilepsy) prior to any booking and attending Out of Bounds.

Responsibility for all party guests is that of the party parent and other party parent guests at all times and not that of the party host or Out of Bounds.

  • Please consider that when confirming your numbers we are unable to offer any form of refund or reduce booking numbers once your deposit has been processed.
  • All payments and any communication relating to group bookings can only be taken by our dedicated bookings line/office on 01903 788588, option 1, email bookings@out-of-bounds.co.uk or by calling in. Group bookings cannot be dealt with by the reception staff at Out of Bounds.
  • All bookings of £100 or less require full payment at the time of booking.
  • If your event is taking place within 6 weeks of your booking, we require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Group numbers cannot be reduced once confirmed and the deposit has been taken.

Cancellations

  • Cancelling your event and not rescheduling the event will result in all monies becoming non-refundable.
  • If you choose to reschedule your event for any reason (subject to availability), there is an administration fee of £50.00. We do require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice to reschedule any event or activity.

Unexpected Group Guests

  • A minimum of a 1 month’s notice is required for any additional guests and is subject to availability at that time.
  • Out of Bounds reserves the right to refuse extra guests if the session is already at full capacity, we may refuse this either at the time of arrival or in advance.

Group Booker Responsibilities

  • Please ensure that everyone arrives at least 10 minutes prior to the event. Latecomers will not be given additional activity time.
  • It is extremely important that the group booker provides the Out of Bounds Manager with the exact numbers in their group on arrival.
  • All additional unpaid guests that are part of the group will be charged on arrival.
  • Please inform Out of Bounds and the caterers if you require a vegetarian/vegan menu or have special dietary requirements in advance of your event.
  • The group booker should ensure that all guests are dressed appropriately. Socks must be worn for Laser and Ten Pin Bowling and closed-toe shoes for Climbing. Socks can be purchased from reception.
  • The group booker is fully responsible for all guests at all times.
  • Food and Drink cannot be brought into the centre by any of the groups. All food items and beverages must be purchased from our on-site cafe/restaurant.
  • Adults (18 years +) can purchase alcohol at our premises. We do not allow guests to supply their own alcohol and alcohol is not permitted within the Laser or climbing areas.
  • Out of Bounds is not responsible for personal belongings and will not be held liable for any lost, damaged or stolen items. Lockers are provided.
  • The Group Booker is fully responsible for all guests at all times. Groups with participants of 16 years and under must have a ratio of 1 adult per 8 children at all times. All responsible adults must remain with their group at all times on all activities and cannot leave the site at any point.
  • Every booking is provided with an Event Form/Itinerary upon booking. The Event Form/Itinerary cannot be amended or requested to be changed by any Group on the day of the event, regardless of the reason. Out of Bounds Reception hold the Event Form/Itinerary that will take place on the day and they are unable to make changes to the activities and timings for whatever reason. All information on the Event Form is final, with confirmed details. Any event amendments will be completed by the Bookings Team in advance, and Out of Bounds Reception are made fully aware. All Group bookings are made, based on activity availability and therefore changes are not possible to any Event Form/Itinerary on the day.
  • You may pre-order food and beverages for your group in advance, at the time of booking. Alternatively, there is an onsite café/restaurant to purchase food items and beverages.

  • Climbing is not permitted for any participant with injuries such as fractures, sprains etc.
  • Group Clip ‘n Climb bookings do not include the Leap of Faith, this is an optional extra at the time of booking.  Please ask.
  • A minimum of 2 group leaders must be present within the Clip ‘n Climb arena, supervising and supporting their group for the entire duration.  For bookings of 20+,  3 leaders must support.

Ten Pin Bowling information

  • From 9.30 am to close, 7 days a week.
  • A Team Member will meet and greet you on arrival and set up the lanes ready to start bowling. They will be available at any point whilst bowling, however, will not remain permanently with the group whilst bowling takes place.

  • A subscription to our newsletter/email marketing service is not mandatory.
  • We will not communicate, share, publish or otherwise give away your email address.
  • We reserve the sole right to either modify or discontinue the newsletter/email marketing, at any time with or without notice to you. We will not be liable to you or any third party should we exercise such right. Any new features that augment or enhance the then-current services on this site shall also be subject to these Terms of Use.
