Open Laser Evenings

Laser tag is a team or individual game where players attempt to score points by  tagging targets with a hand-held, infrared-emitting targeting device. It is very popular and suitable for ages from 5 up to 13 years.

Bright LED lights clearly indicate team colour or solo play and players don’t need to put on a vest. Inside each phaser is an array of sensors. The laser tag, tagging range is more than 30 metres and each phaser comes equipped with programmable colour, a laser, twin speakers and a graphical LED screen on the back showing players up-to-date scores and ranks during and at the end of the game.

Safety is of paramount importance – it’s not like paintball and uses no physical projectiles. Our system is easy to use, lightweight, highly flexible and has proved itself in hundreds of soft play centres around the UK. Phasers have protective rubber tips on the barrel and sensors in every phaser ensure that they must be held with two hands, preventing them from being swung about wildly and possibly causing injury to another player.

Our mid-week ‘open’ sessions, where individuals can get involved in the laser action, are really popular and fill up fast – so you will need to book in advance to avoid disappointment. The sessions last for one-hour and the ages range from 5 to 13 year olds. The cost is just £10 per child for an hour of intense and active entertainment. Payment is required at the time of booking. Please ask a member of our staff team about the timings of current sessions.

Parents are required to stay on site during the open session, but are not directly involved in the action, so you can enjoy a coffee or a beer while your space warriors are wearing themselves out!
