Clip 'N Climb Activity Details

• Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
• Every participant must have read and completed an Out of Bounds Clip 'n Climb Consent Waiver Form before entering the climbing arena. If the participant is under 18 years, then their parent or guardian will be required to complete the form before taking part in the Clip 'n Climb activity and remain on site.
• Participants must arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled start time to complete our Consent Waiver Form and attend the compulsory 30 minute safety briefing. Participants arriving after the briefing has started may not be allowed to climb.
• Duration of climbing will be approximately 50 minutes. Total time is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
• The Leap of Faith and Vertical Drop Slide are subject to availability on certain sessions, with one go per climber.
Drop Slide will be available during one half of the session and Leap of Faith will be available during the other half.
Off-peak sessions do not include Leap of Faith and the Drop Slide will be available at the end of the session.
Any of the climbing walls may be taken out of use at any time for essential reasons, we always endeavour to operate with all walls open however refunds/reduced pricing will not be given due to any number of walls being out of action.
For exclusive use of the climbing arena bookings of 22 climbers are required.
Participants must be at least 4 years old and have a minimum height of 100cm (130cm for the Leap of Faith) and subject to harness size fitting suitability.
Walkers to under 5's are permitted to climb during a designated Pre-School session only. For further details on Pre-School sessions please see our website.
The minimum weight you have to be is 10kgs and the maximum weight restriction is 22stone/150kgs. This is to allow our Auto Belay to function safely.
The child’s parent or adult guardian remains responsible for the welfare of their child(ren) at all times and must decide what level of supervision by the parent/guardian the child(ren) needs in the Clip ‘n Climb arena in light of his/her age, confidence and ability. We encourage all parents to interact and share the Clip ‘n Climb experience with the children in their care. Clip ‘n Climb sessions are not to teach climbing, nor are they one to one style sessions with any of our team.
Any physical activity carries an inherent risk of bumps, bruises, scrapes and minor injury. By participating or allowing the children in your care to participate you acknowledge and accept this risk. People with health concerns and existing injuries are advised not to climb.
Closed-toe footwear such as trainers must be worn for climbing. Climbing shoes, shoes with heels, flip-flops or open toe shoes are not permitted.
We advise that long hair is tied back & glasses must be secure.
The consumption of alcohol before climbing is strictly prohibited.
All jewellery must be removed and pockets emptied before climbing.
Appropriate loose fitting, flexible, comfortable clothing should be worn.
Customers are not allowed to bring their own food and drink. Food and drink are available to purchase. We know that climbing is thirsty work, so water bottles are permissible.
Personal possessions are left at your own risk. Out of Bounds is not responsible for customer's property.
We are unable to offer a refund or change the date and/or time on any booking unless we receive a minimum of 48 hours notice.
